Cabify is like Uber, but a slightly classier version of Uber. The cars that Cabify drivers drive are often newer, more upmarket, and in better condition, and you’re also offered Cabify-branded water or sweets when you get in.
Cabify Vs Uber
Which is better, Cabify or Uber? There are pros and cons to both taxi services. In my experience, Cabify is, as mentioned, a slightly more upmarket version of Uber and, give the option of both, I would choose Cabify.
Unfortunately, Cabify isn’t always an option. It’s not available in as many cities as Uber and, when it is, there are far less drivers around than Uber drivers.
Of course, you’re rarely slumming it with Uber. Although you do get the odd car that needs a clean or seatbelts (which is a bigger problem), the service is almost always great. The same goes for most taxi apps like Taxify, MyTaxi, Gett, and Kabbee.
The Cabify app (and website) allows you to set your journey preferences. For example, would you like the radio on or off? If you’d like it on, which channel would you like played? Would you like aircon? Would you like the doors opened and closed for you? Would you like the driver to call you to confirm the trip?
Personally, I don’t need a lot of those features. It is nice to have aircon, but that’s usually on anyway, and I’m usually happy to listen to whatever’s on the radio.
